Tuesday is election day. The Yakima County Auditors Office has sent out 17,000 ballots for the Tuesday special election. Voters in Mabton, Highland and Selah are being urged to fill out ballots and return them to the auditors office by 8:00 pm Tuesday. BALLOTS ARE DUE BY 8:00 PM TUESDAY District officials in Selah and Highland are asking voters for support for levies. In Selah voters are being asked to support a replacement levy at a cost of $1.65 per $1000 of assessed property.
